Environmental Programme — Picker Pals
Run your narrative.
Picker Pals had built something worth talking about. A litter-picking and environmental education programme bringing real, hands-on environmental action directly into schools, funded by a network of corporate partners, associations, and community organisations. With 83% of Irish schools already captured, the mission was there and the reach was real — but they needed someone to run their narrative.

01 — The Situation
A programme with heart.
No engine to run it.
Picker Pals is an environmental initiative built around getting children genuinely excited about looking after the planet. Through the Picker Pal programme, they bring litter-picking and environmental education directly into schools, giving children a hands-on reason to care about the world around them. The programme had real heart behind it. But it had no engine to run it.
Picker Pals was growing, and they knew the next stage of that growth needed a dedicated studio focused entirely on telling the story. The impact was real and happening every day. What they needed was someone to make sure the right people were actually seeing it.
Why they came to us
The programme had the ingredients for a movement.
It just needed someone to build the engine.
02 — Strategy
Lead with the people, not the programme.
Before a single post went out, we built the content strategy from the ground up: content pillars, campaign ideas, and a narrative arc designed to shift the story away from programme announcements and toward the real moments happening in classrooms, on beaches, and in schoolyards across Ireland and beyond.
The strategic decision that drove everything was to stop leading with the programme and start leading with the people it changes. Teachers, children, and community partners became the content.
01
Social Media Management
Took over the channels and rebuilt them around human, impact-led storytelling rather than programme announcements.
02
Content Strategy & Campaigns
A long-term content direction with pillars, campaign ideas, and a narrative arc that gives every post a reason to exist.
03
Partnership Re-engagement
Reignited relationships with Oxford House, Craemar, and other funders and partners that had gone quiet, with real conversations now back on the table.
04
UGC & Community Content
Leaned into real moments from teachers, children, and aligned partners — and made that the engine of the content strategy.
05
Building the Picker Pal World
Went beyond individual posts to build the wider world of what it looks and feels like to genuinely care for the planet.

04 — From classroom to TV
Media moments with somewhere to land.
Picker Pals appeared on RTÉ Nationwide, with a Met Éireann partnership on the way. Both were already in motion — but when people watched and went looking, they found a living, active story online rather than a quiet page with nothing to show. The social strategy gave those media moments somewhere to land.
We're your partner, not a separate agency.

05 — More than social media
A partner, not a posting service.
Our role goes beyond content. We came in as a strategic partner, managing relationships with funders, associations, and corporate partners, identifying new opportunities, opening conversations, and making sure the people who needed to know about Picker Pals were hearing about it.
